The hall of sorrow NMNM

The concept of the building is based on the symbolism of a wall that creates a barrier, a division. Similar to the separation between the bereaved and the deceased. At the last farewell, the visitor perceives the strong, high walls around him and realizes their impassability.

Three walls form distinct lines defining the space, both vertically and horizontally. Two outermost walls separate the space from the car park and the cemetery, while the central wall is primarily symbolic of the final farewell.

There is a single interruption in the central wall in the form of a light in the place of the catafalque.
